After-school programs

After-school art, right at your child's school.

When school is out, art is in. I meet students at their school site directly after the bell for 6 weeks sessions of real art instruction, mid-September to mid-June, at elementary schools across Humboldt County.

For families

What an afternoon looks like.

  1. 1

    The bell rings

Students make their way to the art room or meeting spot at their own school. No driving across town.

  2. 2

    Snack first

A few minutes to refuel and settle in before we start.

  3. 3

    The lesson

A new technique each time, grounded in fine art principles, then time to make it their own.

  4. 4

    Pick-up

Finished work comes home with them.

For principals, staff and PTAs

Bring After School Art to your school.

An enrichment class your families will ask for again, with nothing for your staff to prepare.

  • I bring every material and teach every lesson.
  • Classes run on your campus right after dismissal.
  • Up to 16 students per class, 6 weeks per session.
  • Lessons are grounded in fine art principles and inspired by contemporary trends.
  • I never intervene on a child's paper: the work that goes home is theirs.
